Rancher Grilled Steaks
with Blue Cheese Crowns

A juicy grilled sirloin topped with a rich, creamy blue cheese crown. Big flavor. Real ingredients. No 12 Bad Foods needed.

Fire Up the Grill.

This Sunday Chef recipe takes a juicy grilled sirloin and tops it with a buttery, creamy blue cheese crown for a dinner that's simple, satisfying and packed with flavor.

Ingredients

FOR THE STEAKS

  • 4 (4–6 oz) sirloin steaks
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter or beef tallow
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon dried parsley
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • Sea salt, to taste

FOR THE BLUE CHEESE CROWNS

  • 3 tablespoons softened butter
  • ½ cup crumbled blue cheese
  • 2 tablespoons almond flour
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon dried parsley
  • Black pepper, to taste

Directions

1. Make the Blue Cheese Crowns

Mix the softened butter, blue cheese, almond flour, garlic powder, parsley and black pepper until a thick mixture forms. Divide into four portions and refrigerate while you prepare the steaks.

2. Fire Up the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

3. Season the Steaks

Pat the steaks dry. Lightly coat them with melted butter or beef tallow, then season both sides with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, parsley, sea salt and black pepper.

4. Grill

Grill the steaks until they reach your preferred doneness.

5. Add the Crown

During the final 1–2 minutes, place one Blue Cheese Crown on top of each steak. Close the grill just long enough for the topping to soften and begin to melt.

6. Rest & Serve

Remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for about 5 minutes before serving.
